They are this generation.
Rooted in 1 Timothy 4:12, we believe youth can, should, and will challenge the body of believers through their faith, worship, service, leadership, and love for Jesus. Horizon YTH exists to win youth to Jesus, disciple youth in Jesus, and send youth for Jesus.
Thursday Nights
Are the Heart of YTH
Thursdays | 6:00–8:00 PM | Sanctuary
Thursday nights are the primary gathering of Horizon YTH — the place where our youth ministry identity is formed. Each week, 7th–12th grade youth come together for worship, biblical teaching, small groups, games, food, and real community.
After the message, youth break into small groups by gender and grade, each led by two trusted leaders. Our youth team curates discussion questions that build on the message from that night, helping youth process God’s Word, ask honest questions, and apply their faith to real life.
And YES, we bring pizza to every small group.
During the summer, we also host monthly Invite Nights that turn up the energy with bigger games, special moments, and a great opportunity for youth to invite their friends.
This is the best first step for youth who want to get connected, build friendships, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Worship + Teaching
Youth gather for worship and biblical teaching centered on Jesus and real life.
Small Groups
Groups are separated by gender and grade, led by two leaders, with curated discussion questions that build on the message.
Pizza + Community
Every small group gets pizza delivered to them, giving youth space to talk, laugh, and build friendships.
Invite Nights
During the summer, we host special Invite Nights that are bigger, louder, and designed for bringing friends. These nights include high-energy games, special elements, food, worship, teaching, and the same heart of helping youth encounter Jesus.

Sunday Mornings
Sundays | 9:00 & 11:00 AM | Theater
Sunday mornings are an additional place for youth to connect while Sunday services are happening on campus. Youth gather in the Theater for worship, teaching, and community during the 9:00 and 11:00 AM services.

Thursday is our main weekly youth gathering for 7th–12th grade youth, designed to help youth know Jesus, build real friendships, and grow as disciples. Each week includes worship, biblical teaching, games, small groups, food, and community.
After the message, youth break into small groups by gender and grade. Each group is led by two trusted leaders and uses discussion questions curated by our youth team to build on the message from that night. And yes — pizza is delivered to every small group.
You’re also welcome to join us on Sunday mornings during the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services in the Theater for worship and Bible study, but if you’re wondering where to start — start with Thursday night.

Who We Are
At Horizon YTH, we believe youth are not simply waiting for the future — they are part of the Church right now.
We believe 7th–12th grade youth can know Jesus deeply, follow Him boldly, and strengthen the body of believers through their faith, worship, service, leadership, and love for Jesus. Rooted in 1 Timothy 4:12, our heart is to see youth become disciples who don’t just attend church, but help awaken fresh faith in the Church.
That is why Thursday nights are the heart of Horizon YTH. We gather for worship, the teaching of God’s Word, small groups, prayer, food, and community — not just to create a youth event, but to form youth who are being won to Jesus, discipled in Jesus, and sent for Jesus.
What We Believe About Youth
Youth can know Jesus personally.
We believe youth can have a real, personal relationship with God through worship, prayer, and the teaching of His Word.
Youth should be discipled deeply.
We believe youth need more than entertainment. They need Scripture, honest conversations, and trusted leaders who know them, pray for them, and intentionally invest in their walk with Jesus.
Youth will strengthen the Church.
We believe youth bring passion, faith, courage, and conviction that can challenge the whole family of God to follow Jesus more boldly.
Youth are sent now.
We believe youth are called to live for Jesus in their schools, homes, friendships, teams, and future. Not someday, but today!
Events
Summer is one of the best times to get connected at Horizon YTH. From camps to special Invite Nights, our heart is to create moments where youth encounter Jesus, build friendships, and invite others into community.
Middle School Camp - June 23–25, 2026 (Waitlist Available)
We are planning a jam-packed three days. Worship and a themed message series to start every day. Universal Studios, Seaworld, and a Padres game is just the beginning! The students will have the chance to serve the community around us, spend time alone with the Lord, and really learn what it means to have a relationship with Him.
High School Camp - June 28 – July 4, 2026
We can't wait to spend the week in the presence of the Lord up at Hume Lake! This camp is for incoming 9th-12th graders and graduating seniors, with worship, teaching, community, and a week focused on the Psalms of David and the condition of the heart.
Summer Invite Nights
Throughout the summer, YTH hosts special Invite Nights that are bigger, louder, and designed for bringing friends.

Summer Beach Days
We will be meeting on select Fridays for Beach Day! We will meet at 12PM for devotional time and then spend the rest of the afternoon hanging out at Powerhouse Park in Del Mar until 4PM.
Beach Days will be on June 5th, June 19th, June 26th, July 10th, and July 31st.
For Parents
At Horizon YTH, our heart is to partner with families as youth grow in their relationship with Jesus. We want parents to know that their sons and daughters are being welcomed, cared for, discipled, and challenged to follow Jesus boldly.
We are committed to creating a safe, Christ-centered environment where youth can ask honest questions, build meaningful friendships, and grow as disciples. Every YTH leader is background checked and serves as part of a team of trusted adults who know, pray for, and intentionally invest in youth.
Our desire is not just to host a weekly event, but to come alongside parents as youth are won to Jesus, discipled in Jesus, and sent for Jesus.
